Frasers Property to redevelop Yishun 10 into mixed-use project with 110 residences, launch set for mid-2027
Placemaking consultant Studio Lapis will lead the project, that will additionally recognize chances to integrate aspects from Yishun 10 in the brand-new venture.
Yishun 10 opened in 1992 as Singapore’s very first cinema multiplex. The development houses a 1,477-seat Golden Village cineplex, along with 10 ground-floor strata retail units and a cellar carpark. It lies beside Northpoint City, that is owned by Frasers Centrepoint Trust (FCT).

“Through Yishun 10 Memories, we invite the community to share their stories, memories and experiences, as we start the next chapter of the Yishun Central site with a brand-new mixed-use development that supports evolving way of living needs and aspirations,” stated Soon.
Operations at Yishun 10 are projected to discontinue on March 2, 2027, to make way for the new development.
Last year, Frasers Property settled its control in Yishun 10, buying the Golden Village cineplex from Hong Kong film production business Orange Sky Golden Harvest Entertainment for $48 million, and the 10 strata lots from FCT for $34.5 million.
Slated for finalization in 2031, the 99-year leasehold development will feature around 110 residential units and a retail podium at street level. Inhabiting a site location of 39,125 sq ft, it is going to have a total entire floor area of 117,376 sq ft.
The group also announced the launch of “Yishun 10 Memories”, a campaign to document the building’s area in the area.
Located alongside Yishun MRT Station and Yishun Integrated Transport Hub, the project will also be attached to neighbouring mall Northpoint City through the existing below ground pedestrian network.
Yishun 10, a retail development throughout Yishun Central, will be redeveloped into a mixed-use property with residential and retail parts that will launch in mid-2027. It will be the initial property release in Yishun Central in over a decade, said owner and developer Frasers Property in a Sept 2 release.
